FBI begins investigations of Oak Creek temple shooter

On August 6, a 40-year old man entered and opened fire on a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin – a town of only 35,000 a few miles south of Milwaukee. The shooter killed six individuals and wounded many more before local authorities were able to deliver a fatal shot in a shootout at the temple.
The man's name was Wade Michael Page, an Army veteran from April 1992 to October 1998, according to the Los Angeles Times. He had no overseas deployment but was ranked as specialist E-4 in psychological operations. No details on his duties were released by the Pentagon.
According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the first 911 call came at 10:26 a.m. after some temple-goers locked themselves in a bathroom for protection. Children were in the basement of the building attending Sunday school when the shooting began and many women were in the kitchen cooking a weekly meal that was free for anyone.
Although FBI special agent Theresa Carlson said the agency was executing a search warrant on Page's apartment in Cudahy, they had not yet established a motive for this actions.
"This remains an active investigation in its early stages," said Carlson in a statement. "While the FBI is investigating whether this matter might be an act of domestic terrorism, no motive has been determined at this time."
As the FB. begins its investigation into the incident, the agency may need to speak to a number of individuals who could provide very important details on Page and what his motives may have been.
In order to effectively get the most out of these hearings, investigators may want to use Milwaukee court reporters to provide comprehensive and accurate deposition transcripts. In addition, they may want to seek accompanying deposition videography services for the most complete recountings available.

This was a terrible tragedy for the Sikh people. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them during this very difficult time.
