Planned Parenthood suing Wisconsin over abortion laws

Women's rights were a heated topic in the latest election season, as many political figures found themselves in hot water with their comments regarding birth control and other key issues. Planned Parenthood has historically been a proponent of pro-choice legislation regarding abortion and in doing so they often take action against laws that prohibit this.
This is why the nonprofit dedicated to women's health and family planning company is suing the state of Wisconsin.
Planned Parenthood alleged that a Wisconsin state law which subjects doctors who perform medication-induced abortions to criminal charges is "unconstitutionally vague and should be struck down," according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
The law states that, before a doctor can issue a medication-induced abortion, they must take their patients through a series of steps. Physicians that do not follow all these steps may be subject to criminal charges or other penalties.
"We are in court to make sure decisions about pregnancy once again belong to a woman, her family and her faith, with the counsel of her doctor," Teri Huck, CEO of Planned Parenthood, told the source.
Lawyers in Wisconsin can ensure that high-level lawsuits such as this are handled as effectively as possible by partnering with experienced Milwaukee court reporters. These professionals will not only be able to provide accurate deposition transcripts, but also video deposition services allowing critical individuals to meet with litigators from anywhere, which may be necessary for cases involving two major entities such as Planned Parenthood and the state of Wisconsin.
